Overview
Text Messages Volume 3 for DaVinci Resolve allows video editors to quickly create realistic recreation of text message conversations. This pack is easy to use and fully customizable, providing you the tools to create any text conversation in just a few clicks. Whether you’re telling a story, creating a social media ad, or adding modern flair to your films, this pack provides all the tools you need to create stunning text conversations on screen.

- Typing bar interface: Full-featured typing bars with editable text to show your character typing a message.
- Voice Message: An animated waveform that simulates a voice note playing back. Use keyframes to control the length of the animation.
- Text Message: The main template for building standard text bubbles and full conversations.
- Image Message: A dedicated template for sending and receiving photos. We massively improved this preset from our previous versions. Resizing and repositioning your image is now easier and more intuitive.
- Voice Recorder: This preset comes with an animated timer that visualizes a character recording a voice message.
- Typing: A simple preset that adds the classic three-dot typing animation to build anticipation.
Customizations Options
This DaVinci Resolve template is designed to be intuitive, flexible, and easy to customize. We’ve packed it with features to give you complete creative control, without the headache of building it from scratch.
- Sender vs Receiver: The messages can easily be set to the left and right sides of the screen to show sent and received texts.
- Control Animation Timing: The Typing Bar includes a “Send” animation button, which lets you choose the exact frame for your send message animation. We understand that timing is particularly important, which is why we’re giving you the freedom to choose the exact frame for your animation.
- Editable Text: Change user interface element texts to your language of choice.
- Vector Sizing: Resizing the template will not lose pixel quality
- Background Blur: Each message template is also designed with a transparent background with a built-in blur control. This allows the message to float over your footage, creating a subtle, high-end “glassy” effect that looks great on any background. You can adjust the amount of blur to perfectly match your video’s style.
- Comprehensive Tutorial Included: We’ve included a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you through the process of using the template, making it easy for both beginners and experienced editors.
